Prim. Adi Mulabdić, MD, MSc

Specialist in General Surgery, Subspecialist in Abdominal Surgery

A distinguished member of the Association of Surgeons and the Association of Endoscopic Surgeons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, this doctor has extensive experience in both general and abdominal surgery. His expertise covers a wide range of open and laparoscopic surgical procedures, including those on the esophagus, stomach, colon, pancreas, and pelvic region. Certified in the surgical treatment of inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, he performed the first laparoscopic esophagus procedures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the country's first minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE). He is also certified in esophageal and gastric surgery and is a certified laparoscopic surgeon.

At the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, he served as Head of the Abdominal Oncology Surgery Department at the Clinic for General and Abdominal Surgery. Additionally, he has held the role of senior assistant and associate lecturer at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo.

An active participant in more than 40 international congresses, conferences, workshops, and symposiums, he has published 10 articles and co-authored 25 others. He has also completed additional professional training in centers across Ljubljana, Zagreb, Belgrade, Rome, Bucharest, and Istanbul.
